REL Custom Cabinetry was established in 2001 and is a 2nd generation family run business since 1977 working for my father. REL has become a versatile company having built everything from traditional to contemporary cabinets, casework, specialty projects and furniture. They start with the best quality raw material and build each project to the highest of standards. The facility contains state-of-the-art manufacturing and is located in San Carlos and is set up to handle all aspects of custom cabinets.

Rodney Lane of REL Custom Cabinets has been serving the San Mateo County area for over 40 years - Rodney has grown almost exclusively through referrals from thrilled clients, from homeowners, architects to contractors. Collectively, with over three decades worth of experience under his belts, he is able to tailor each project according to our clients' specific needs, budget, and preferences. Our Process

Homeowner

It all starts with a meeting with our team, together we collaborate and develop a comprehensive project plan for your space based on your design resulting in both a functional and beautiful result. We understand the importance of communication, service and attention to your needs through all phases of a project.

Contractor

Our cabinet manufacturing shop is developed as a “one stop shop” for architects, engineers, contractors, designers, and administrators, we’ve positioned our production processes for flexibility to ensure that we can accommodate for all of your cabinetry needs no matter what size your project may be.

REL Custom Cabinetry can provide casework and cabinetry to homeowners, businesses, and general contractors. Owner Rodney Lane will manufacture the architect's or designer's specifications.

Installation

At our facility in San Carlos, CA we will assemble your cabinetry at various times throughout the building process to make sure all pieces fit and work correctly, and check for any flaws before it is installed in your home.

Upon arrival to the job site, the cabinets are staged in their respective rooms. Owner Rodney Lane then begins the installation process. After the cabinet cases are in place, Rodney will begin to apply all moldings and install all specialty hardware. Finally, the doors and hardware are installed and your vision is now reality.

We also collaborate with electricians, plumbers and any other necessary subcontractors to make the installation process as smooth as possible. We are fully licensed and insured and navigate the complexities of projects from start to finish so that renovations are as comfortable as possible whether working direct with client, contractor or designers.
